Shape and Surface Properties

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Surface properties of mechanical objects can be defined by the shape or flatness, and/or the roughness of a surface. Using several different techniques, based on both portable equipment and fixed installations in the Metrology Laboratory, these characteristics can be obtained and verified.

Additionally, the absolute level of a surface can also be measured.
