<p>The accurate weight of a satellite or a component is an essential measurement that is required for the calculation of Moments of Inertia as well as the measurement of the Centre of Gravity with Mass property measurement devices.</p>
<p>Therefore a set of precise weigh scales is operated in the test centre, covering the mass range from a few grams for a small screw up to 10 tons for a complete space craft. Via WiFi they directly communicate with the MoI / CoG measurement facilities to transfer precise weight information.</p>
