GSTP FLY ELEMENT
Element 3 supports in-orbit demonstration of new technologies, preparation of future missions and small missions.
The activities performed under Element 3 aim to prove new technologies by flying them in space conditions, whether that’s products in need of acquiring flight heritage, hosted payloads or complete space missions (small spacecraft, cubesats etc.).
Secondly, they aim to conduct investigations and studies to prepare for future missions, in particular breakthrough and new generation types of missions. Thirdly, Element 3 also conducts ad hoc small missions.
