Space Mechanisms Workshop and Final Presentation Days

The theme of the Space Mechanisms Workshop will be focused on Compliant Mechanisms. The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview of recent developments and future needs for the use of complaint mechanisms in the space hardware. Furthermore, the workshop will provide a platform to the community to interactively discuss such topics as:

- Applications and advantages of using compliant mechanisms

- Traditional and Additive manufacturing technologies

- State of the art, innovation opportunities and future R&D

The workshop is also an opportunity for attendees to network with other space mechanisms professionals and to stay informed of the latest compliant mechanism technologies developments.

The ESA Mechanisms Section hosts its annual Space Mechanisms Final Presentation Days to disseminate the results of research and development activities to interested parties from the ESA member states. The 2025 edition will take place immediately following the annual Space Mechanisms Workshop on Compliant Mechanisms. The combined event will take place from April 2 to 4, 2025.
