The 2026 edition focuses on advanced manufacturing as an enabler for space applications. Sessions will highlight emerging technologies that expand design freedom, streamline production, enhance product performance and reduce costs.

The Space Safety Industry Day informs industry about the opportunities around the Programme’s activities for the years 2025-2028. The event will take place on 16 June 2026, at ESTEC (Noordwijk, HOLLAND), from 8h to 18h. &nbsp;

ATD3 workshop is a long-standing European forum which aims at fostering technical and scientific discussions, collecting and disseminating knowledge, proposing new topics and activities, and contributing to planning efforts, including roadmap definition and coordination.
The main objectives of the ATD3 workshop are to:
<ul>
<li>Establish a framework for the verification, validation, and comparison of numerical methods used in space object reentry simulation tools.</li>
<li>Disseminate recent scientific and technical results within the ATD3 community, which includes academic participants (in particular PhD students) as well as experts from industry.</li>
<li>Coordinate and discuss future activities, with the goal of gathering expert perspectives from both academia and industry on forthcoming developments in the fields of aerothermodynamics and design for demise</li>
</ul>

The ISD is organised by the SME section in the ESA Directorate of Controlling, Finance and Operational Procurement to foster cooperation between different actors in the entire space sector.
Key elements of the event include:
<ul>
<li>pre-scheduled 1-on-1 meetings to establish new contacts in an efficient and time-saving manner</li>
<li>an exhibition with ESA and industry booths and the possibility to engage with future partners</li>
<li>keynotes and panel discussions with contributions by ESA, industry, investors and institutional partners</li>
<li>ESA presentations and workshops about business opportunities and future activities</li>
</ul>
