Events&Workshops

Space for Inspiration 2024 is an awe-inspiring B2B annual gathering that unites visionaries, entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors at the forefront of commercial space exploration.
This year, two parallel sessions will be held in conjunction with an engaging plenary session focused on:

<li>Lunar Economy</li>

The ESA Education Office is looking for university students to participate in the third edition of the ESA Academy’s Technology Transfer, Application &amp; Innovation Workshop.&nbsp;
Delivered by ESA specialists and external experts from start-ups and industry.
During the workshop, participating students will learn about different disciplines within the field of Technology Transfer, Application &amp; Innovation, including patenting, entrepreneurship, and business incubation.&nbsp;

ESA's Education Office, in collaboration with ESA's Legal Services Department, is once again organising the five-day Introduction to Space Law Training Course.
During this week-long course, students will be taught by world-class experts in space law. They will discover that:
<ul>
<li>a space mission is by its very nature an interdisciplinary endeavour involving science and technology but also policy, questions of administration and funding and, importantly, law</li>
<li>An international legal framework governs space activities from the beginning of a mission to its very end</li>
<li>National space laws play an important role in the development of space missions and, more broadly, in the development of the space sector in a country.</li>
</ul>

ESA’s Education Office is looking for 30 talented and motivated university students from ESA Member States, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia, with an engineering or physics background, to participate in the fifth edition of ESA Academy’s CubeSat Concurrent Engineering Workshop.
This workshop will expose students to real-life concurrent engineering approach practices while designing a CubeSat mission.&nbsp;

The European Space Agency (ESA) invites members of the space community to attend the Industry Space Days (ISD) at ESA/ESTEC (Noordwijk, The Netherlands) on 18 – 19 September 2024. Participants will be able to register as of quarter 1 2024. Registration opens in 2024. Please note that there will not be a 2023 edition of the ISD. 
Key elements of the event include:
➔ pre-scheduled 1-on-1 meetings to establish new contacts in an efficient and time-saving manner
➔ an exhibition with ESA and industry booths and the possibility to engage with future partners
